The problems with gamewise have been posted numerous times. It's not a place to track and maintain a collection.

But it could with a few minor changes.

But its not right now. Until those changes happen (will they even happen?, after them giving up on this site makes me wonder if they will drop support for gamewise too)

Are you guys aware that most of you already have a profile on ioi's new database website gamewise.co which contains all the games you added to your VGC profile? You can login with your VGC password.

If I'm not mistaken Gamewise profiles also contain the updates a member made earlier (even years ago) to the VGC database and the rating the person gave to a specific game in the VGC database.

Here are some gamewise profiles of VGC members who posted in this thread (the user # is the same as on VGC):

Considering you decided it was a good idea to hunt down my profile on that horrible site, I think it's a good idea that I respond here.

Gamewise is horrible for collections. There's a collection feature of some sort but that's it. My main problems are that the listing is horrible and there's no filters but I also hate the fact that my account was copied on another site without my permission and there's no way to change your username there. This is one of the last sites I use this username and it's only because I don't know any way to change it here - and then someone decided it would be a good idea to copy everyone's account on another site without even asking. And as the site isn't worth using to me right now, having a passive account there is just a security risk.

That's why I hoped ioi would respond to this thread. Unfortunately he only seems to care about certain aspects of his sites, not about the site members. And I agree, he should have asked VGC members for their permission to copy their accounts.
