Is it worth a subscription?

For games I doubt it.
For comics I would say yes as collections quickly grow to be big( a 10 000 comics collection is not out of the ordinary ) and they provide up to date information on all variant covers and even have a small summary for every comic as well as of course the cover art.( and new comics gets added to the database as they get released , even relatively indie stuff). I add around 10 comics to my collection every week and it only takes a few minutes.
The subscription is per collection type, they offer Movies, Books, comics, games and music. you need one subscription per type so the fact I subscribe to comics does not let me organize games or musics...
This is how a collection looks like on that site :

You can try the site for free as with the limitation that collection size will be limited to a small number.

That website is great, wish vgchartz game collection wasn't so pathetic now
It would be nicer if the game collection here were just updated. Or even, as Green_Sky says, just let users contribute to keeping it up-to-date if that's too much trouble.
Sadly, I think the games collection bit here is done. It's a year and I still can't sort by Vita or Wii-U. Lots of games don't have box arts and I still haven't figured out how to add things if they don't show up within the first 5 results of the search box.
So perhaps I will have to take up one of these external websites for managing it!
Raptr
They give you free rewards, tracks your games played, the time you have played each game, your trophies, achievements etc
Are you guys aware that most of you already have a profile on ioi's new database website gamewise.co which contains all the games you added to your VGC profile? You can login with your VGC password.
If I'm not mistaken Gamewise profiles also contain the updates a member made earlier (even years ago) to the VGC database and the rating the person gave to a specific game in the VGC database.
Here are some gamewise profiles of VGC members who posted in this thread (the user # is the same as on VGC):

I use Gamespot for that, but that Darkadia looks neat.
Tagging for later. I've been wanting to update my collection and like the suggestions so far.

The problems with gamewise have been posted numerous times. It's not a place to track and maintain a collection.
