I am excited because of the (rumored) 8 Gigs of memory and the 50 Gig of Bluray storage.

Now Imagine all those graphics in the following games:

Halo 5

Gears of war 4

Perfect Dark 2

Forza 5

Respawn Game

Ryse

and other unanounced games.

Now Imagine all those games having Kinect integration of some sort, where you use your voice or certain gestures for in-game commands.

Imagine being able to talk to NPC's and watching them listen to you or even react in a way you never thought they would.

Imagine playing with the new xbox controller and being able to seamlessly chat or video chat with friends through skype and even switching between friends

with a touch of a button.

There is a whole lot more on my mind, but I won't bother to elaborate. I am just really excited to see what Microsoft will show off.

Anyone that thinks Microsoft will drop the ball, haven't been paying attention.

May 21st can't come soon enough. 18 days Left.

Yeah it will be killer and even gonna make ps4 looks like toy box or trash box truth hurts Sony loyality supporters

Lol, yeah as soon as I saw Kinect I thought for a moment "this guy is kidding right"?

I think it will be both good and bad. Imagine playing a squad based game like Gears and issuing orders to duck behind cover, heal, give spare amount, swap weapons... Who knows? Mass Effect too, instead of selecting what you say in a conversation, you actually say it? I hope they take this route with it in the next lot of core games.

 

They'll be tonnes of shit too... I know that but hopefully they go more on a direction I said above. Possibilities are great.

Also there is nothing wrong with integrating Media and Videogames unless there are less games being produced

Did you own a 360? I can understand why people who haven't owned a 360 are excited for the 720, heck I bought my 360 wanting something different from Sony, and XB1 Rare games (like Conker) were actually good.

Also half the games you mentioned are multiplatform.

To be honest though, I'm really interested to see early life exclusives which target the Japanese audience. Panzer Dragoon was awesome for XB, and Lost Odyssey/Tales of Vesperia were even better for 360.

My bad! I'm usually really good with that, but honestly, Gears of War 3 ends in a way that Gears of War 4 would have to start a new trilogy, like Halo or Mass Effect did. I didn't really enjoy Halo 4, and the next Mass Effect isn't Mass Effect IV..

It's important to mention because I don't think Gears of War will ever be what it used to be.

I hope they do support the japanese market, even if they didn't really progress in it with the 360. The amount of japanese content that the Xbox was getting in its early life was great! Dead Rising is another brilliant example.

Because raw power always wins console wars.  Just look at how the original Xbox destroyed the PS2 in sales.  And subsequently, how the PS3 and 360 outsold the Wii by leaps and bounds.
