Max King of the Wild said 'm not reading the whole thing but if this is concerning that supposed exclusive then it wont do much for the 720 concerning its suppose to be on the 360 as well. Or are we now going to claim cross gen games are huge? In which case the Wii U must be selling well

No its about the report that MS has opened its pockets to 3rd parties because internal development is moving slower than anticipated

In other words MS is throwing cash around to buy exclusives supposedly

So what they normally due?  Thought moneyhattin was what they are kidna famous for.  Least initially.

Pretty much.  Nothing wrong with that though.

O I know its not a bad thing, it works.  And Microsoft has the money to throw that around and use it to their advantage.

I was just wondering why they are "throwing cash" as a soultion when they normally do anyways.

Are they throwing money at turbo drive now?

From the recent rumors yes.  Who knows if they are true or not but there are reports MS has the checks flowing

So history will repeat itself then? This isn't incentive to buy a 720 to me as whatever exclusives they do buy will most likely be timed exclusives and I will have a big enough backlog from Sony first parties to keep me busy til then.

I don't think MS needs to worry about exclusives. Fact is, exclusives don't sell consoles, it may keep sony forum warriors hard at work but thats about it.

As long as it has games and Halo, it will do fine.

If true though, an exclusive from the makers of COD would be huge. Sony should be worried.

Throwing $$ to fix the problem is M$'s advantage. Sony doesn't have the $$ to snag exclusives.

The problem is at what point is all that worth it?

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

it will be interesting to see how things work out, considering this time ps4 will have good games in the launch window.

All I see is that if Microsoft does throw money around to get exclusives they will be only timed, so Sony has nothing to worry about. Ps4 will have great 1st party exclusives that ms wish they could have. Microsoft shoulda started building up their Ip's last gen and maybe they wouldn't have this problem but alas they are fools....

"I dont think MS needs to worry about exclusives"

*drops mic* ..i'm done..

Microsoft's first party always fails outside of Fable, Forza and halo and then they pull out the check book. Everyone with a brain should already know they would've had a third party produced replacement for Gears that they would pay for to keep exclusive. Microsoft did it their first gen with Bioware, second gen with Epic and now the third gen they are using Respawn. Microsoft is kind of a predictable company.
