Well all they can do is announce big games. Maybe if GTA V and other big games like Call of Duty Ghosts come to the Wii U this fall along with big 1st party exclusives like a real Mario game like Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros.

It is not like Nintendo won't be at E3 at all. They will still have a presence. I remember last E3 (I think,) they had the entire press conference focused on the Wii U, while the next day I think, they had a smaller 3ds meeting. The line up for the Wii U is looking great this fall. I think once the price drops, and more games come out, people like me will finally pick one up. Otherwise pretty much everything on the Wii U that is out right now that I am interested in is either on my 3ds or my Pc.

They will announce big games, we already know Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Smash Bros will be there along with Bayo 2, Pikmin 3, Wind Waker, X, Yarn Yoshi, SMTxFE, Retro's game, a few casual Wii_ games, and possibly a few surprises. And its got pretty decent 3rd part support for the end of the year Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell, AC4, Batman, Skylanders, Rayman and probably COD, Destiny, Just Dance. It seems like EA is the only one that refuses to put games on it.

Hopefully they'll unveil a real Mario & Sonic game as one of their surprises. It's been way overdue.

Mario & Sonic at the Space Olympics

^When I say a real Mario & Sonic game, I mean one without Olympics in the title. :L

I know I was just being a jackass lol I agree with u tho if they make a legit Mario & Sonic game where Bowser and Robotnik team up and make a master plot to trick Mario and Sonic into battling each but eventually rwalize there on the same team. They could do a Sonic Adventure type thing where Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Peach, Tails and Knuckles each get there own story and levels. Possibly even have Robotnik and Bowser as playable characters.

^That would be uber amazing! They could also do similarly to what Sonic Generations did and have Mario gameplay for one part of each level, then Sonic gameplay for the next.

I don't think a lack of a conference will be a big deal. Surely it's the games and the release dates, most of which should be playable, which is most important?

And surely devs should stop putting all their eggs in the E3 basket. It's good for a week, but why can't we have major announcements spread out over the year (like the Directs do)?

Thats a good idea too, and maybe have a Wii U vith 3D gameplay and 3DS with 2D
