Are any of you undecided about which nextgen console to go with?

Why are you fence sitting? Obvious answer: waiting for Nextbox reveal. Obvious follow-up question: What, in the 21 May announcement, would push you towards to Nextbox?

What from E3 would push you towards any of the 3 consoles?

What do you expect to be the one (or few) things that finally decides it for you?

How big of a deal is price?

What I would like to see from people is not the negatives that would push you away from a console, or the absence of negatives that would incline you towards a console. What I want to know are the things a console has, does or will do that draws, or would draw, you towards getting that console over and above the other 2.

This goes for the folks who are going to get all the consoles. Which one do you expect to be your go-to console, the one you will probably buy most of the multiplatform games, include PC in this if that's going to be your go-to device and the consoles will be strictly for their respective exclusives. 

Myself, I'm getting a PS4, it's not a question of if, but when, so I can't answer my own poll.

Price and 1st party games, that's the two deciding factors for me. As I already own a WiiU the choice is now between the PS4 and the Nextbox, with the scales heavily tipped towards the PS4.

Still not decided which will be my main console, though I will eventually own all 3. Too many stuff yet to be known.

This gen I went 360 > PS3 > Wii

I might even go primarily PC.

Negatives are if the competition has more first party exclusives.
Positives are if they have more first party exclusives than the competition.
Negatives are if they charge for online.
Positives are if they don't.
Negatives are if they are more than the competition (no contracts allowed that's cheating).
Positives are if they are less.

Since I have a ps3 & vita I'm leaning towards Sony's bench, but I'm very reluctant to pull the trigger early. In fact, I think the software side of the PS3 has been crap with respects to the applications. I like my next gen to have massive application support like apple/android products. I'm also waiting to see which system has less manufacturing problems. If any of those companies ever forces me into a subscription I won't go near it. I hate contracts; I rather pay the full amount at the beginning.

Definitely getting a PS4.
Will eventually pick up Wii U when there are games I want with a price point I think it's worth.

If xbox does not differentiate itself from the PS4 in a big way I won't pick it up ever - I see no need to own the same console, save a few exclusives I may or may not care about.

It's all about price and games for me... Wii U obviously has Nintendo games, but I'm quite sure they won't get any 3rd party support in a year or 2, so what to do then? And not all 3rd party games comes to PC either...

I'm kind of on the fence about getting a PS4. I'm mainly a PC gamer and I'm quite happy with it and I was already ready to stick to PC gaming only and leave consoles for other people. (Thus far I've owned every Sony console except for the Vita.) Then Sony came with their PS4 announcement and now I'm quite excited about it.

That said, I'm not going to jump in just yet (and not only because I can't). It'll be long before I can afford a PS4 and more importantly, I want to see where current milking policies go. I loathe the way DLC is handled these days, I loathe online passes, and I loathe pre-order bonuses. You get the idea, I'm sure. The industry current treats its customers with no respect and I have no wish to support companies that don't support their customers.

Also, the Wii U doesn't interest me at all. I don't care too much about Nintendo's own franchises, and I'm not too hopeful about the Wii U getting decent third-party support either. Add weak online service and outdated hardware and it shouldn't be too hard to see why I'm not getting a Wii U. As for the next Xbox, I hate MS. On the console front, it's mainly because of XBL and its subscription requirement to be able to play online. Then there's buying timed exclusivity on stuff, effectively delaying it for other people, and overall, I'm not sure MS respects its customers. Mind you, remember that I'm mainly a PC gamer and MS doesn't exactly have a good history with PC games (GfWL).

I'll keep with PC/PS3 until October-November 2013 at least. I will most probably buy a Wii U at that point since it'll finally have games. Then I'll buy the PS4 at its first price drop (that strategy worked out perfectly for the PS3).
