No it shouldn't, GPU of Wii is emulated on the Wii-U, it's just the CPU that has a compatible instruction set.

Not set to run it by a long shot.

The Gamecube CPU and GPU are the same as the Wii, just slower. If you can emulate one, you can emulate the other.

I agree 100% about Legends - Capcom had no business cancelling that game. And I just like to be different I guess



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Since the Wii U has a Wii inside it then yeah.  And it should in theory emulate the GC as well.

Well, they did say they are releasing a new mega man game, so maybe they are building up momentum for an announcement of Mega Man Legends 3 coming.

Plus Capcom still manufacture some new copies of Resident Evil: Revelations for 3DS, but now they give a suggested Retail price of $19.99¢ for that 4 GB Cartridge game. So either way, I can see Capcom eventually uncanceling Mega Man Legends 3 , especially with the Prequal fully develop for PICA200 and the game 29% develop for the PICA200, so clearly, they wouldn't want that money to go to waste, but they know of how good a new game can sale when it is brand new on the market base on such factors as fan base & how many hardware owners. Plus they have recently found out just how popular Mega Man is in the West on Nintendo via 3D eShop Virtual Console. So I think it's only a matter of time.
