If you surveyed people 10-20 years old you'd get a vastly different distribution of responses, skewed towards handhelds, I reckon.

Note it's the over 60's who really skew the result towards PC, like my 72 year old mother games (solitaire) on PC.

It would be amusing to imagine that half of the people over 60 are sitting at their PCs screaming at each other while playing Battlefield 3.

But no, it's Facebook games, browser games, online poker or mahjong, things like that which are driving most of the PC share among the general population.

I have trouble believing that poll when the 3DS is selling like crazy over there. It should be much higher in the lists.
Actually what i always heard is that the PC is not a popular gaming platform over there (wich is why they released PSO2 on the Vita, for example).
