Well it is way less reliable than nintendo hardware.

My psone and ps2 and on their respective graves now. My old Gameboy and Gamecube are still kicking (last time I checked was about 1 year ago).

Also, I shouldn't need to mention the ylod fiasco.

Ive never been unfortunate to have ps2 problems (mines kicking after 10 years), but yeah Gameboys were solid bricks xD, never fails to turn on when ever i pick one up.

Oh well im gonna celebrate the life of the DS, it gave me endless hours of joy. Don't give a rats ass if it doesn't outsell the ps2. Fucking everything turns into a flame war in vgchartz these days.

Of course ;) The thread was made to do this - the TS did it intentionally so it seems. But yes, DS was soooo good. I have to admit that I used it mainly feeding it roms instead of retail-cartridges but there were a lot of games I really enjoyed to play.

oh nice. DS could have good legs in less developed countries like the ps2. In places like the phillipines, the kiddies will eat that handheld goodness

It doesn't have a forecast at all. Which can mean a number of different things and not necessarily discontinuation.

Also, the PS2/DS discussion is stupid, because we don't know the PS2 sales. Lastly, VGC undertracked DS sales by 200 million, lol.
