Just because were on the Internet doesnt mean we should just sit back and take shit from people. Some stuff offends certain people. To tell someone to just get thicker skin is just stupid.

as a women and a christian i really need to count to ten after reading some posts. there is a limit to how inconsiderate you can be just because you are online. and telling other people to get thicker skin isnt the way you are gonna solve this.

Fuck this, I don't care if he got away with violating the forum rules for years. I do my best to follow the forum rules and keep up a normal discussion, so if someone purposely breaks them he should be punished accordingly. I understand that the mods have LOADS of works to do and can't possibly keep controlling all threads. But reporting certain people doesn't seem to have any impact at all.

Btw. I wholeheartedly (is this even a word? :D) agree with all of your points, Marucha^^

since we are on a forum that has moderation and rules she shouldnt have to ignore insults. we are in a controlled site that doesnt allow insults. just because men dont take jokes to heart as much as women doesnt mean she doesnt have the right to report anybody who does insult her. yes women are much more sensative than men, but that is just the way they are

If someone is offende so easily about something like that.....i dont even know what to say.

Life is tough. Grow up and deal with it.  The fact we live in a society now days that wants to find something wrong / offending in everything someone says is quite frankly pathetic

Meh. This is a video game forum. As a demographic, we are inherently the most discourteous and insufferable males society has to offer. Do you really think anyone on here is going to give a damn if a girl gets offended by a crude joke? You complain about this and it's a slippery slope to complaining about perverted pictures of women on here and at that point nobody here is going to support you.

Not trying to be discouraging; I'm probably more in agreement with you than most.

Not trying to be discouraging; I'm probably more in agreement with you than most.

but thats not the issue, people might not agree with her point of view but the mods should enforce it to prevent women from leaving this site. just because the number of males on this site is so much bigger doesnt mean they are allowed to insult women. The mods should be stricter about this specially now since this issue has been brought up by other female posters. 

the problem and the solution lays with the mods, not the users

The best thing you can do is simply ignore these kinds of things. If they don't get attention they will go away. Opening a thread about it is kind of doing the exact opposite, although i get that it isn't only about this user.

I mean with al the attention in this thread he might even be... wel no i'm not going to make dirty jokes here.
