"Medium sized double digit amount of millions" is for me anything over 10 million and under 90 million lol.

This game uses the same GoW III engine... so no expensive costs... I call half of the GoW III costs.

They should have spent 51 million making it and hired 7 or 8 bug testers.


They should have spent 60 million and made it multiplat. Then I think you wouldn't have posted such a transparent reply.

Would the game be smoother as a multiplatform title? I don't think so. If anything it would have made it an even rougher release.

If a game is full price ($60), then a first party game brings in approximtaely $34 - $36, with a 3rd party game bringing in a tad under $30., factoring in marketing, distribution and the retailer's cut.

$50 mill / 36 = 1.39 million

$50 mill / 34 = 1.47 million



Assuming people here are correct that sony gets at least $30 per game. And this game sold over 1 mil WW.

Then this game probably already made over $30 mil
