Forums - Sales - Nintendo 3DS sales more then PS3 and more then 360, in N.America.

"So the 3DS is now doing more better in Native America & Canada & Mexcio then PS3 & 360. And Luigi Monsion Dark Moon is selling more then Bioshock infinit on PS3 & 360 combine."

This gave me a headache. Native America was funny though.

With the PS3 and Xbox 360 having temporary price reductions like the 3DS in March...

Im kinda surprised they were not higher...you know because sales like that tend to mean higher NPD numbers.

3DS is really taking off now. It looks like VGChartz was really under-tracking it in the US. It's really now the biggest platform in the world... I hope it continues and disproves the idea that dedicated gaming devices have no future.

Comparing a younger system to two older ones is something not worth bragging about.

Sowe are comparing a 2 year old handheld (8.4m install base) with an 8 year old home console (39.4m install base).

Furthermore replacement for the 8year old home console is about to be announced.

Awesome.

Where were you 2 users on all the other threads mentioning these comparisons earlier this year of earlier this year comparisons?

It's funny when people try to down-play this. I get their pain.

The 3DS is on fire right now, and with so many heavy hitters to come this year, its going to be an absolute monster this holiday season. And this from a system that at one point was labelled "doomed." It goes to show, never judge a system by its opening.

Good very good. I really hope PS3 and 360 get price cuts soon.

Not surprised that it sold more than PS3 in America.
