Seeing how one is dead it would be best to at least capture the last guy and question before they do anything else.

The problem is he will probably go out with a bang, literally. No answers to be had here, just someone fed up with life.

Yeah which is most likely going to be the case.

If there is a hell these cowards deserve to burn in it

Killing and maiming innocent civilians and purposefully targeting them is pure evil

Yeah that would make sense but still...some people are dense in the head.

I came to North America from Eastern Europe when I was 13 and it took very little time for me to realize that I like eating cerial in the morning, watching hockey on big screen TV's and drinking average tasting beer with cool labels and bottle gimmicks.

It's a wonder you stayed.

Here's something I just came across that indicates that he really never fit in. Sounds like Chechen independence was always a big thing for him. The younger brother seemed pretty well adjusted and to have a lot of friends, but his older brother probably held a lot of sway over him.

But if you're up for Chechen independence, why Boston? Even if you don't want to take a plane to Saint Petersburg or Moscow, you could always try the embassy in DC

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

For a lot of the rebels the Chechen jihad is just part of the greater global jihad. That's why there have been Chechen fighters turning up in Iraq and Afghanistan, even though you'd think they have their hands full enough with the Russians. My guess would be that Tamerlan probably subscribed to that line of thinking.

It's pretty easy to become radicalized in a foreign land. There have been incidents of gay Muslims who escaped persecution in their home countries by going to Europe only to find themselves strangers in a strange land. The thing that reminds them most of home is the mosque, so they go there, fall under some radical preacher's influence, and end up part of a terror cell, as counterintuitive as that all sounds.

Supposedly the older brother jumped out of the car, was shot, and then the little brother ran him over trying to escape LOL.

Coroner said the older brother had "too many bullet wounds to count". Wonder how he was even alive en route to the hospital.
