Forums - Nintendo - Reggie:Wii U Releases will "Dramatically Increase"

Probably means they'll throw out a few 20-plus-year-old virtual console games and expect that and some Mario DLC to hold over starving U owners until Q3.

@OP:

What Trololo Reggie omitted saying was "but not for American gamers".

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

I swear if they get up and waste precious time (and resources in terms of making them) on Mario Golf U and Mario Party U at E3, I will lose it.

Doesn't take much to see a dramatic increase when the baseline is close to 0 first-party games in a while.

We all know that Mario Kart and the like is coming though, but I would hope they have a price cut to go along with the games too.

The base line is like 0.1 if you factor in 3rd party too, well at least in Australia lol.

But don't those sell quite well?

I mean better than something like a Custom Robo will.

Those games aren't going to move consoles, and I'd be pissed off if they're spending time and resources on games like that when they could be focussing on more interesting material.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

So is The Evil Within coming to Wii U or what.

The holidays... So basically, no change whatsoever.

Thanks for reassuring all those who assumed buying on launch would be bad idea instead of just waiting for the inevitable $100 price cut a year out when it actually has a game Reggie.

this is just like the cake
