OP, are you on iOS? If you are then just use Safari. I rarely visit VgChartz from my phone but when I do I don't get ads....

The ads on VGC are absolutely ridiculous. Ads with sound, ads with malware (happened about 2 years ago), adblock not working properly, ads that enlarge on their own etc. It's beyond annoying at this point. It once happened to me in the library (I forgot to turn the sound off) and I was seriously pissed.

It really cheapens the site. I'm sure there are better types of ads they could use.

I agree.. the picture ads I can deal with, but getting redirected to some porn site or shitty "Candy Crush" app gets a bit irritating after the 10th time in 5 minutes from refreshing the page..

Yeah, I was at the lab where I work, and the sound was on... Now I don't visit the site in public places

i constantly have an ad on the top and bottom of the page and 1 in 10 times i get sent to an xxx site. its just ridiculous. then theres ads just spread throughout the forum pages
