Hey everyone! This is a new series I'm starting called the Gamer Report. This will basically be a series I post every week that wraps up all the video game news from the week! I'm wondering if you all could watch it and give me some criticism, just what you liked and what you didn't liked. And yeah, I know the audio is a little bit off, it will be fixed in the episode.

If you want to push something like this, you'll need press. Lot of press. Try to make banners or something like that.

Also, the music is horrible xD And the show is a little bit too slow. Showing images or pieces of video is welcomed.

I dont have money for ads, but i'll try :/ The background music? Ok ill change it :D and yeah I only showed a few pics in this one, ill do more in the next :)

I think you made a reasonable start by advertising it here. It was not bad but it wasnt great either. You seemed to cut pieces of the clip quite a lot of the time and I found it slightly jarring even though your words flowed together reasonably. The music was meh and didnt bother me or please me. In contrast to Wright above, I actually felt you went a bit too fast with your topics (though that is my opinion).

You would also just switch to another topic within the space of a sentence without announcing the change of topic in any way. Maybe put the title of the topic up when you are talking about something (or before you get into the topic). Also, maybe you could run through the contents of the different topics you are going to go through before at the start of the show. I also noted there were some sentences appearing at the bottom of the screen - some of which seemed relevant to the topic at hand (i.e. mewtwo) and some that didnt. A few flashed on and off the screen so fast I couldnt read them (they better not be subliminal messages or else - heh just joking.)Finally, I thought it was too short (but that would fill out a bit if you added some of the things I suggested). 

This is just my opinion so no offense meant.

That's...a pretty clever observation o.O

First let me tell you that I'm blunt, and some people tell me my criticism is pretty harsh. Having said that, here are some suggestions you may consider; take them if you like.

1. I know you don't have a studio, but the bedroom background is lame. Too many people do it, and if you want to differentiate yourself, and take it a step further. (You can buy 3-4 yards of cheap bright green fabric, and learn Wax.exe to make yourself a green screen and possible picture slides.)

2. Type an outline of your topics, present it to your parents or friends. Present it to your mirror (many, many times), notice the facial expressions you like to improve or take out.

3. Your shows title states it's a gamer's report. Watch out for your bias opinions. Leave the opinions for the trolls who watch/read the news. (Whenever you say I/My in a sentence, you are basically adding bias to the news. It's fine if you want your show to be like a blog, not fine if you wish to report the news or rumors.)

4. Open you mouth widely when you speak, and slow down. You may wish to do some vocal exercises before talking into the camera. Picture the camera is if its your best friend and you wish to tell it a story, only make sure you rehearse that story a lot.

5. Present all sides to any rumor/story. Give info/links to your references, and try not to speak in absolutes.

6. Positive one. I leave this one last because I wish to congratulate you on having the balls to put your face out in the open. Not many people will do this, myself included. However, like an instrument, only practice will make you a better public speaker.
