no trust me it's not because of no more heroes. Shipments might be hitting their stride finally.

Nintendo was sending them by plane in december and that created the shortage in january when they started sending them by ship again. It appears the ones on ship started arriving so we should see steady shipments from now on.

I have a hunch that the reason Wii sales are so high is because Gamestop just got a big shipment in to knock out the rest of the people that were part of the pre-order program before Christmas. The date was Jan 25th for those Wiis. Just taking a stab in the dark here though.

lets say that in Japan the Wii sells 75k and the PS3 does 35k and 360 does 5k

the Wii will have outsold the competion WW by 60-80k... shocking....

If it does this much longer the Wii will begin to close in on that magical 50% !!!

Wii will be 330-350k in late January... amazing.

these numbers are mad. 360 nearly doubles ps3 sales in america, and even then, it doesnt seem like it will outsell it ww.

These sales seem to be about the same each week. PS3 outsells 360 in Others by ~20000, 360 outsells PS3 in NA by ~30000, and PS3 outsells 360 in Japan by ~30-50k to take the cake by ~20-40k. Wierd.

Until the release of a big game or a price drop this is the patteren we will probably see alot of for the next few months.

Good Wii and DS sales. PS3 sales though are worrying. 360 still doing solid though, and PSP holding its own versus DS.

Can't wait to see software.

I hate to turn this into a math class. but 81K vs 51K isn't "nearly doubles", It's much closer to 1.5 times. Which has always been the ratio in US.
