Forums - Nintendo - All I want is a 3D Mario and a new 3D Zelda for my 3DS

Even though we got a Galaxy 2 for Wii, I doubt Nintendo would release a new 2nd 3D Mario for 3DS. If we are to receive another one, then I can see a Sunshine 3D remake or Galaxy and/or Galaxy 2 for 3DS. (only a remake, no new 3D Mario game)

As for Zelda, we'll probably receive two more games. Majora's Mask has been rumored, and I expect an new original 3DS Zelda game to come out at some point.

That was rumored for some time. I think we will see it. Perhaps it can be the 3DS' original Zelda game.

Actually, I'm hoping for something similar to Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. 2-D style and mechanics with 3D graphics. Of course they could add some new twists to it as well.

I think 3D Land 2 is very likely, 3D Land was good but there was definitely room for improvement, it would be cool if it was a remake of Mario Land 2 for Gameboy

3D land had no magic and almost every level was forgetable. I beat all 16 worlds and can't say a single level stood out. I loved the graphics and 3D effect but that was pretty much it. I can't explain how excited I was about it coming out as well. I was hoping it was gonna be like a mix between Mario 64 and Galaxy. So not. super mario land 2 was full of magic though mate.  

So, do you feel Nintendo made this game short, just to get a 3D Mario out on the console? System seller?

If that's the case, then I also hope for a new full 3D Mario Platformer. I haven't played Galaxy yet (even though I own it), but I loved Super Mario 64 and it's remake on the DS.

alot of hate for 3dland its the best 3d mario game to me. its the closest to the 2d ones and that I liked that. Sure its easier. But so what, theres a whole nother set of harder levels after the regular campaign. It'll be funny if it ends up being one of the best selling 3d ones.

I hope in Mario Galaxy 3d for 3ds with online multiplay and a new Zelda for 3DS - and at the end of 3DS lifespan MajoraMask remake!

I don't like 3D Land as much as Galaxy 1 and 2, but I like it much more than Mario 64 or Sunshine.



I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
