No, I don't want those things. I just wouldn't care for the same reason that I wouldn't care that roku does that. The xbox probably won't be my games device next gen but it could be a solid multimedia device.
Ofcourse thats contingent on all these features not being locked behind a pay wall.

Another thing you should probably be aware of.....not all set-top boxes will be supported. If you're like me and you have the cheapest of the cheapest set-top box, that probably won't be compatible with the next Xbox. Probably only the high-end ones.

No, I don't. The VgLeaks article mentioned that an Xbox set-top box isn't coming this year, but the next. This leads me to believe that Xbox 720 will only have connectivity to your current set-top box, not replace it.
