It's easy how it works.. if there is a negative rumour for the next xbox we believe them if there is a positive one we don't.. you have been on this site long enough to know this..

Sure I get that but come on somewhere a line gets drawn on how much you can change on your console in a 2months period, a more believable option is that MS has had let's just say 4 different concepts as to how they wanted to execute the 720 and we are now seeing that after Sony put their cards on the table MS changed card(concept) and basically put a different card out.

I will continue to wait for the real announcement, but these rumors do make more sense than the laughable ones before. For some reason there were people that seemed to want to believe that MS would shoot themselves in the foot so badly that they refused to consider that rumors aren't confirmation.

Well, rumors were true but all the insiders didn't remember the old leak that was speaking of 2 different xboxes coming to consumers. The cheap one requires internet and due to no disc-drive doesn't allow used games while the real NextBox allows used games and can run offline.

Though, the early rumor said it would be 99$ and not support 360 games, I did say no disc drive. 149$ and plays games makes sense given the wii slim's function.

Your thread was based on an article dated 2012/11/21, this is 2013/04/10 and this also says that the small 360 can play 360 games.

I called that the stingray was this exact set-top box, and I also predicted it would not have a hard-drive.

The only thing that was wrong was the no-playing games, but 99$ and no games is virtually the same as 149$ that plays games. Stay mad.

That's how analysis is done, son.


I am not your son, keep watching your tone. And perhaps read again "149$ or lower" - we don't know the price yet and it's of course easily changed by MS. Actually, all the rumors saying always on and no used games was stingray, after all. Doesn't affect NextBox. Good.

Hey, you can believe whatever you want. All I do is provide an analysis and a prediction. I predicted the stingray was the settop box known as xbox tv. The title of the thread was "Is this the MS SKU Stingray".

I got as much right as I did wrong, and that's better than anyone in the other stingray threads had done.

Believe it or not there seems to be plenty of rival fans that would love for MS to implode. It's crazy I know, but true. The old Nextbox rumors read like a bitter Sony Fanboy's Christmas wish list.

Oh, and walufsnir, I am also the only person in the rumors threads who were saying the "no used games" and "always online" were completely untrue, and likely spread by MS itself. Just go look at those threads. I'm literally the only person saying they're fake, and probably just marketing that draws attention away from ps4 talk, and sets the bar low for MS to come out with a console that is unhindered by the rumors and wows everyone.
