Vita is indeed being confirmed as sold out at major locations in Japan.
When big retailers like Yodobashi, Joshin, Big Camera, and even the Sony Store are sold out of most or all models you know something is up. Possible release of a new model incoming?
Amazon all models but black 3G are gone (from Amazon itself).

Sizeable drop offs for vita 3DS and Wii U. 3DS still looks good though because of its high base. Vita will get estrogen boosts with new release games but it seems the lower price tag by itself isn't brining in the punters despite the system having some high quality games.

The Vita price cut was a band-aid where a tourniquet was needed.
We'll see how the price cut will affect its first "second Christmas".

Aside from the usual suspects, Dragon Ball & Kingdom Hearts are also having some very decent legs and Muramasa; One Piece & Soul Sacrifice all seem to be holding on decently for Vita, which is pleasing. Disappointment of the week would have to be NGS3+ (no-one wants this game, Tecmo Koei. Make something else). Dragon Quest X for Wii-U also has a pretty poor second week, considering it should really be two-days-worth-of-sales better than Muramasa + Game & Wario but manages to beat neither. Oh well. |

Indeed quite big drops for everything and somehow vita is sold out in many places. Tecmo Koei imo needs to get their act together. They can make a profit off any sales it seems but I want them to make good games again :(.

Fantasy Life doing pretty well. It's pretty much doubled it's sales from the FW. Considering the initial shortages and not including any of the eshop sales, that's pretty good.
