Wha do expect we have everybody up to creative director confirming or at lest adding to the credibility of some very anti consumer features for Xbox3.

Wii and PSP:Go spring to mind, neither of which is a perfect example.

You are right that Wii, whilst it had more hate aimed at it, also had a bit of love.


PSP:Go might have to be disqualified as it's not a console of its own, just a different SKU.

microsoft has never really been populer on the internet, but wii got tons of hate for the specs and the fans were in denial for a long time.

The fact that ppl are talking about it is a good thing. Just like wii u. C'mon folks. Obsess about it.

Xbox gained quite strong online popularity with the 360. And the hate the Wii got for its specs was counteracted by the excitement for its new controls; there is no such counterbalance to the negativity surrounding the 720 at present.

you guys do know the reasons for the hate for the 720  are similair to wii and wiiu, except for blocking games.

1. focused on motion controls.

2. rumored specs look 50% weaker then ps4

3, locked used games.

Wii and Wii U don't require a constant online connection, which is the primary source of the animosity directed at the 720.

wiiU... tons of "smart" people really thought the gamepad was the console ;_;

the main reason for animosity is, its not doing anything better then ps4, and then its locking used games, which why it requires to be online all the time,  making it easy choice to go for ps4.

I can't believe people are making actual analysis of an nonexistent platform for what we know , with unannounced specs... there are even details of its capacity(54% lower) compared to the competition , however none of the systems were unveiled completely.
