I don't believe they won't post profits, because even if the Wii U is sold at a loss, they gain money back through 1st and 3rd party game sales, which we know is over 10 million in Q3 and Hardware was 3 million in Q3. Plus the fact that their 3DS is selling like hotcakes, means in my opinion a return to profit... but by how much.

Well not every company is founded in the same quarter so I think that's where the differences are coming from.

Q4 should be profitable due to pretty good 3DS sales.  Q3 was profitable although mostly because of exchange rates helping (which it's poised to do again).  Fiscal year looks to be a loss but Q4 should be small profit.

They have an investor meeting and usually update upcoming releases.  A big part of those meetings is trying to convince investors you have a plan to grow the bottom line and the way to do that in this business is to sell consoles and software.  So showing that you have system selling software on the horizon is a good thing.  It doesn't mean they wouldn't put it out sooner, but they have to address it to some degree for the investors or investors will stay away.  I would expect if they move Pikmin and W101 past May there will be questions as launch window has flown.

Don't forget that Wii sold well during the holidays. That's where they made most profits from (and its games).

They are pretty low on games this quarter and only 3DS is doing good hardware numbers. It's gonna be close.

So any idea when this meeting will be? Im dying for news on upcoming Wii U games.
