change the amount of posts that are displayed per site.
I use 50 and everything works fine.

I use 50 too.

Why is the default always so low? It sucks to have to change pages every 15 seconds, and many users aren't even aware of this feature I'm sure.

When I joined the site you couldn't choose the amount. I think 50 was the standard back then and when that feature was introduced it stayed at 50 for these users.

What's the standard now ? 10 ?

I have this problem occasionally, but usually late at night. It can be frustrating, but I think it's something with the backbone that VG Chartz is on, or possibly the network connection between the US and UK.

Depends on where this site is hosted.

Then you probably need to use a different browser for that thread :P

If that's not working you need to access the site from another device.

I tried both IE10 and googlechrome.  Same problem persists.  It works from my phone though

Get with the times and download Firefox.

The connection bounces around like a Ping-Pong ball in the Boca Raton / Miami area. 10 hops alone once it gets there.  That's some extremely inefficient networking on fplfn.net's part.

EDIT:  Hops 1-9 are between the site host and the backend for the traceroute server.  But I did another visual tracert and once again the odd thing is that ServerPronto's connection routes through FPL FiberNet, LLC network rather ineffeciently for hosting.
