sorry, but no one (not ps4, not xbox 720, not wiiU) is selling 3.2M in america this december.  hell, i'd be ecstatic as hell if either xbox or ps4 sells 3.2M WW this december.

I don't know about Xbox destroying them next gen. We don't know anything about Xbox 3 besides the rumors. What's almost certainly though, PS4 will be Vita. Sony fanboys are good at gathering together and they may seem powerful in such a big group on the internet. They don't realise they're limited and very concentrated on the internet. They're a like a closed bottle of water in the sea. Dissolve the same amount of sugar in the bottle and the sea and of course the bottle will have the highest amount of sugarmolecules. But the sea is what really matters, but isn't exactly aware of the PS4 at all.

No one said that and the main reason wii sold about 100m is because it was dirt cheap at launch and had a huge revlotionary gimmick which attracted many people.

Now it's looking as if ps4 will launch cheaply (thank god lol) and things will turn out much differently.

Portable market has shrunk (look at 3DS sales in the west) and the Vita still has no killer apps.

Does anyone actually think there is even slightest risk that the ps4 won't recieve strong support from every major publisher? I genuinely don't think its possible for the ps4 to fail, especially with the cost of its components being far cheaper then the 360/ps3 at launch.
