how many of the steam users are always on when they use steam?

do they get those numbers only from a part of users? they asked me twice if i want to be part of this survey so maybe i wasn't part of it the other months. maybe they asked many people with vista this time? i can't believe people really like vista lol
A lot of Steam users have a GPU better than PS4/Nextbox... ohhhh wait..

just because most don't have a stronger gpu doesn't mean that people who talk about a "weak" ps4 gpu (or other next gen console) don't already have a stronger system.
there could be also a lot of second systems in the stats and obviously also a lot of systems from people in south america and stuff, would be interesting to see only those countries the consoles are also strong in and when the ps4 releases, not half an year before.
i mean, even you could be part of these stats even when you aren't a pc gamer.

Well impossible I'm not a PC gamer... so I never installed the Steam in my notebook.
The fact is less than %5 of the gamers or better only the high enthusiastic gamers had a GPU equal or better than HD 7970/GTX 680... the gamers buys GPU that cost less than $150... so you can be sure the HD 77xx and GTX 66x are the most sellers GPUs for gamers.

What's the equivalent Nvidia card? Looks like quite a few actually, at least 5%+. |
not even sure why he doesn't post the full list and only a few. and 35% are "other" which includes maybe also some stronger gpus

no, not only highly enthusiastic gamers have a steam account, lol? even people like ninpie or spurge have one and don't even play on it, they just have an account to chat with friends.
and post the whole list, not only a part of it.

Well just puting raw numbers... the PS4 GPU is better than HD 7850... so the GPUs betters are (not listing dual-gpu):
HD 7970 (.56%)
HD 7950 (.55%)
HD 7870 (.61%)
GTX 680 (1.71% 1.01%)
GTX 670 (1.33%)
~ 4%
Titan is not listed yet... so over 90% of Steam players have a GPU equal or in most cases (the most % GPU are weak onboads) weaker GPUs than PS4.
PS. I'm not putting the CloseToMetal and console optimizations development in perspective yet because that can remove HD 7870 and GTX 670 from the list of better GPU than PS4.
Edit - Fixed I got the wrong percentages for GTX 680.

I posted what the screens can show... and there are just less than 1% GPU out of the list.
