That thing crawling to him was not an Other.

Yeah it's on the way back that he kills an Other with the Dragonglass dagger and then when he tries to attack Wight Small Paul with the blade it breaks on his mail.

It is a fair criticism to have a thread solely on what did happen in the show and not what did not or what differed. So, some praise.

1. Margarey Tyrell - This actress is brilliant. The subtlety with which she interacts and moves conversations is just fascinating. She understands the game better than most and it really shows.

2. Olenna Tyrell - Just fun to watch an elderly person cut through all pretense and get to the point. Too old to care and just be blunt. I laughed several times when she spoke about her oaf husband and all.

3. Jaime Lannister - The interaction with Brienne continued to be enjoyable and seeing them have a duel with their differing tactics was handled very well.

Overall I was very pleased with the episode and seeing Thoros of Myr and the Reeds and Sixskins were all fun introductions for me as well. Great episode and looking forward to next week.

Well, they've changed some other important things. Guess we'll see in the next episode what happens.

Where would he get the blade though?

Wasn't it found with other stuff while digging latrines on the Fist?

Theons torture was a bit too early and I always wondered how they will show it. I think the idea got well transported but as with Tyrions wound it's not like in the books. Still very well made.

I love how Margarey Tyrell is starting to manipulate jeoffrey since at this point I want his head on a spike lol

The best part is he does not even know, that is genius manipulation at work.  She studies him, sees his strengths and weaknesses and appeals to them.  She is no meek girl with dreams of knights and princes, she is a woman of court that is as dangerous as anyone.  Only Cersei seemingly notices her manuevering and she cannot reach Joffrey with her tactics.  Never have I watched a mother so desperately want to throttle their own son as her scenes being told "a woman should just do what they are told!"

I totally loved Jamie in the second episode. lol One of my favorite characters.


And yea, Bran's actor is growing fast! Reminds me of the kid in the Walking Dead. He looks closer to a giant with every season. Oh how kids grow ...
