like others have said will make no difference to third parties.
if anything it may encourage to some to release on rail shooter test games.

I think there will be plenty of 3rd party games for Wii U. They just won't be the same 3rd party games as on PS4 and NextBox. The Wii U is going to attract smaller developers that don't want to compete with games like COD, Battlefield, etc. It will also get some ports of big games built on mutliplatform engines that make down-scaling easy. Worst case scenario is a N64 level of 3rd party support. I don't see the Wii U being Nintendo's next Wii, but I think it will hold it's ground until the next gen.
Bayonetta 2 is like a 2nd party developed game (like Last Story, Sin and Punishment, Eternal Darkness, Fatal Frame and co.) - funded, produced and published by Nintendo. The situation is different with those EA, Activision, etc titles. Nintendo said company preparing more similar works (like with Platinum games on Bayo, W101 or Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem with Atlus).
"because their main target is still children and families. "
hahaha. if so and ONLY so, nintendo would never funded games like pandora's tower or fatal frame. do you live in 90's?

PS3 version has no issues, I was wondering about that when i got it like a year or so ago and i had no issues so i looked it up and apparently they patched the issues early on. So it's safe to get it if you are online and can patch the game.

Fatal Frame wasn't highly commercialized at all I bet.
It's not about total sales, but about presence. The fact alone that the game is going to be on the U speaks about the console's intent at meeting the needs of that segment (those who like Bayo and other more cult-hit games).
