yeah i doubt it will come this year, if we get 3d mario and mario kart i cant expect ssb, maybe mid 2014. definitely a smart move to partner with Bamco though

And that will likely help, but the fact remains that you can have all the help in the world and still not get a game done in a very short period of time. And Namco Bandai's fighting game experts are likely focused on the upcoming Tekken X Street Fighter. Unless Namco Bandai is making a collaboration with Nintendo a top priority, I doubt that they are investing enough resources to guarantee a 2013 release. Early 2014, maybe. Holiday 2013? No.

lol Tekken X Street Fighter, i pray that that game is muh better than SFxT. seeing as im a tekken fan i will definitely enjoy the mechanics more

You can't delay something if it never had a release date. They haven't even said what year they're planning for Smash yet.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

Maybe, Super Smash Bros was one of the first announced WiiU games. They announced it at the same E3 they debuted Lego City Stories at, and said it was already under development.

If Lego City and Pikmin 3 were the first two announced Wii U exclusives, and they are the first two we get, I wouldn't be surprised if we get Smash Bros this fall. It would boost sales like mad.

I think they could if they really pushed for it, but I think Nintendo will be happy with Beyonetta, Mario Kart U, Wind Waker HD + Wii U party game as fall 2013's Flagship titles along with the inevitable price cut. They'll save Smash Bros for Summer 2014 and 3D Mario for Next Fall. Rare's Project and Yoshi will come out Early 2014 and Project X late 2014.

I'm willing to put money down on it!
