didn't they patch it? here what I wrote in another thread

the best thing to do is to use your amulet to slow eneimes down(should have it maxed for better effect) and the item that allows the shadow-like kratos to fight along side you(again have that maxed out both are pretty cheap red-orbs wise) the rest is just dodging and blocking(or parrying if you feel confident enough)
Edit: also for an added bonues I'd use the shield as your sub weapon

I DID IT! AND WITHOUT THE PATCH! YES YES YES YES!!!

Second level is simply more of slow down/clone Kratos and timed combos. Carefully stay away from the spraying fire to avoid losing health.
Third level is the easiest. You simply need to be at a spot diagonally opposite ready to dodge spear charges from the Centaur boss. Continue this till you have him stunned for execution. The last remaining enemies that throw projectiles can be easily attacked if you follow the usual combos with the blades. It becomes easier if you have a magic bar spare to use. Zeus's magic or Hades can be truly effective.
(Applies for both Normal and Hard)
EDIT: This walkthru was done for pre-patched version but should work none the less . I haven't patched yet. Currently playing on titan mode.

yeh i had all the health feathers and eyes stuff and almost all weapons on full, was just hard haha 

such an amazing game though! my 2nd favorate God of War! what did you think/

the patch wont help you if you can not get through each wave to get the green orbs.

It's smply awesome. God of War Ascension is yet another fine addition to grace the amazing series. A clear 9/10 !

And Congrats  for beating the trial!
