Unfortunately that puts him out of touch with a lot of Japanese viewers.

Why is that, do they expect a higher level of restraint and manners?

Japanese society is far too polite for its own good even today.

If Sega had any sense they'd port the first game and bung it up for sale in the eShop. It would be as cheap as chips to do, would earn them a few quid and promote the sequel. It would be madness for them not to do it imo.

I think there is 0% chance as he (when serious) has said a lot of times that nintendo will be the one who decides ''what'' and when is revealed and that if he said something nintendo ninjas would get him and he would be gone forever.
