Neither Tomb Raider nor Uncharted are adventure games. They're action games, that's it.

And it is Uncharted 2 > Golden Abyss > Uncharted 3 > Tomb Raider > Uncharted

PS. Even the first Uncharted... Tomb Raider is a good game too.

Considering you barely enjoyed Uncharted, comparing it with Tomb Raider doesn't really do Tomb Raider justice. Any decent game would be better than Uncharted in your opinion. But Tomb Raider is much more than "just" a decent game and deserves a much more impressive comparison.

It's like comparing '96 Ford escort with a brand new Ferrari to demonstrate the quality of the Ferrari. It doesn't really make sense and you'd do a much better job comparing the Ferrari with a higher quality car.

Here's a comparison. I didn't enjoy the Battlefield 3 campaign because it sucks. Does that mean I can't compare it with the CoD campaigns which are actually good in comparison?

You're basically saying I can't compare game A to game B if I didn't enjoy game A as much as game B. I'm a fan of the genre so I'm allowed to compare Uncharted to Tomb Raider.

Lets settle with action-adventure. Since that's what the industry seems to deem them.

Tomb Raider is absolutely brilliant, so much better than even the best Uncharted game. Tomb Raider felt like a proper adventure with a great story and brilliant gameplay + depth. It's also beautiful and has an excellent OST. I love Tomb Raider, I had no hype for the game and when my brother brought it home I gave it a chance and just adored it, haven't even touched the multiplayer.

Why would you it's a rip-off of Uncharted except it's terrible.

News flash, Uncharted mutiplayer wasn't good either.

Anyhow, multiplayer was just crowbarred in both. The best reason to buy those games is the campaigns.
