Why does this guy even care?
Go and play PSO instead, Vita is region free.

100% agreed, even though he seemed a little bit offensive but he's right. Monster Hunter doesn't siply fit to the 3DS.. Pokemons, Marios, 2D platforms are what 3ds is for.. RE: Revelations didn't succed on the platform too, i guess.
Nintendo moneyhatting Capcom is a pure competitive method against the vita !

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

It has "one AWESOME screen!" lol what a joke...

I never understand why people decide to make posts like this...
Nobody defended the guy in this thread. And please point out the posts and users which did so...because i really cant see any.
To be honest your post adds nothing to the thread and just looks to cause trouble. A truly pathetic post.
Some people have agreed with what he said though which is understandable especially about the controls. Theres no need for any addons with the vita is a fact not an opinion. The way the guy said it though was childish and immature but then again so is yours.

However there is also no actual need for an addon for the 3DS version either. It isn't required to have a CPP to play the game.
My god ... this is the guy who made FEZ!? I would not have expected him to be such a fool.

i get that but considering they went as far as to make a addon and sell it with the game....id say its the preferred means of control for a game like MH, otherwise they wouldnt have bothered.

"Preferred" by whom?

Right, but as i was discussing with MDMAlliance, would that really change the way the game plays? One thing i thought of that i would enjoy from a stronger console for Monster Hunter would be more sophisticated hitboxes on monsters (you especially notice it with Qurupeco, as those flints on his wings are much tougher than other parts, and so it ends up looking like stabbing the same place twice in a row will produce a different result, if you accidentally brush the flintstone hitbox), and an improved physics engine, though i've seen Wii games with better hit detection and better physics than Monster Hunter, so it seems like that's something Capcom just isn't dealing with. |
Well controlling the character is kinda like, a major plus in a game ;)
But seriously, you could do SO much more. You could have a lot more complex terrain, more tree's, vegetation, etc you could use to your advantage when fighting monsters. Like luring and ambush enemies using terrain for strategic purposes. In other words, have worlds similar to Dragon's Dogma.. And there are lots of ways to exploit the extra power. Monsters with better ai, animations (for player and npc), physics, level design and as you said.. hitboxes.
