I thought this would be an interesting topic to see. Anyways I usually buy my games from retailers like gamestop or bestbuy. What about you?

Everything for PC I will buy on Steam or GOG. For consoles I will usually buy at retail, sometimes through base.com or zavvi or eBay.co.uk (even though I don't live anywhere near England). If used then through eBay again or local classifieds.

Amazon primarily. Play-Asia for imports.

Most of the time Game and if they ask for ID for a 16+ game HMV 

Gamestop and Steam. People don't understand Gamestop's value to gaming. Wal-Mart and other general retailers stock mainly shovelware and big hits because their uneducated (gaming-wise) consumers only buy crap. Niche games need a physical home, a presence in stores, otherwise they may not be released at all. Why do you think Xenoblade Chronicles was Gamestop-only? They were most likely the biggest retailer who would even stock the game. Do you really think Wal-Mart would move Shooter-Hunter/Colorful Mini-Game 2013 for a JRPG franchise with a cult following? Forget about it, their customers are mainly rednecks and little kids (or their parents) who pick up the redneckiest or most colorfully packaged games.

Someday online will be the way to get games. Until then, we need actual game stores.

Mostly Amazon nowadays. Used to be Gamestop, and I still use them if they have good pre-order stuff (gonna use them for Beyond: Two Souls for that extra half hour scene)

bestbuy.com or ebay.

Amazon and Steam, sometimes EB Games.

In Sweden there is a retail store called Webhallen, that is where I mainly buy my console games (since they scam for handheld games). 

I also buy from Amazon.co.uk, but I have to ask my mother if she can order it for me, I still pay for the game though.

I rarely buy anything from Game or Gamestop, since their games are overpriced compared to Webhallen. I have also bought once or twice from a online retailer called Spelbutiken.

Target. I get 15% off for being an employee and they have had almost every game I've bought this gen. Demons Souls for one. The only game they didn't have is Disgea 3 and I found out those games are not for me. Other than that they have had everygame I bought this gen
