Yup, I've mentioned it in another thread. By the time the PS4 and 720 are released the Wii U should have the following titles released after more than two months worth of a software drought (and it's only been on shop shelves for four months):
Lego City Undercover
Monster Hunter 3G Ultimate
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Pikmin 3
The Wonderful 101
Wii Fit U
Game & Wario
Wind Waker HD
Rayman Legends
3D Mario
Mario Kart U
And if Nintendo have any sense they'll give the Wii U a $50 price cut to coincide with the launches of 3D Mario. Mario Kart U, the PS4 and 720 in November.
Sony are going to have a problem selling a console with 8GB of GDDR5 and a GPU pushing 1.8TFlops for less than $400, Microsoft should be able to have the 720 retailing for $399.99 making a loss on each console sold but if the rumours about always online and no used games turn out to be true then that could be a dealbreaker for many.
And when, considering the current worldwide recession, the PS4 and 720 don't sell as well as the Wii U - launches aligned - and are themselves outsold by both the PS3 and 360 will we hear talk from analysts, gaming journalists and forum members about Sony and Microsoft going third party..? i doubt it.
By the time those titles are released the Wii U will have an installed userbase between 10m and 15m before the end of the year. Guaranteed.
