If/when the price drops, I will get it. I am not extremely hyped for the game, but I definitely want to give it a try. The 3DS version too.

I'd imagine so, but then again I said the same thing for Fire Emblem, which didn't. So I wouldn't count on it.

preorder it 2 days ago and i am glad i did because i read some roumors online that they might be some shortages in physical copies like the fire emblem game for 3ds. However the guy at gamestop told me that it is coming out on the 19th when i asked him of the release date. anyway i will check tomorrow to see if they got it .

The game seems to have a faie amount of hype. Is it that good? I have not been impressed by the quality of prev lego games - is this one a step above?

The humor in the game seems pretty awesome, and the reports of some framerate drops can't be worse than the constant less than 30 fps of FarCry 3 so I'm good there. The load times might be a bummer, but it can be optimized and I always have my phone to distract me if it becomes an issue.

This will actually be my first LEGO game so I'm pretty pumped about it. I'll be picking it up on Wednesday at Target. They are having a Buy 2 get 1 free sale on all games this week. Getting this, Monster Hunter and something else....probably not NFS though.

I know Criterion should be supported for their efforts, but EA just sucks so hard and no DLC support for it is a huge bummer. EA needs to learn...but I do kind of want the game, I'm just sick of EA's horrible business tactics. I'll play the demo if it is up before Wednesday, but if not, I'll need to find another game to pick up most likely.
