It's a port with addional content. Besides isn't this game already on Wii and on 3DS? How many times do they expect people to buy the same game?

This is the US and Europe release of Monster Hunter 3G. We are now just receiving this title. The Wii game came out years ago.

The difference is that in the west MH games are really far between each other. This changes (which are quite a lot tbh) are a very good addition which will give fans TONS of more hours (I personally spent 200+ hours on the Wii version, this one has more monster so it will probably be like 300+ hours lol)

Well in japan on 3DS this game is well over 1.8mil so if it gives capcom money right? Anyway i think alot of people are buying this with all the added content and alot of us never got to play it, cuz in Mnementh thread it shows more people new to the game. The west is starting to recognize the franchise thus more sales. MH4 is coming to 3DS summer so from here on out it'll be just new games

I'd love to get it for Wii U because of the better graphics, but as I don't have one, i'm buying it for 3DS.

I never did. Its very beefed up ports if you would. Its a huge expansion in content and its 3D graphics on the 3DS and HD graphics on the Wii U. Its a pretty good improvement over the Wii version.

I downloaded the demo from the WiiU eShop the other day, and to be frank, I didn't like it - at all. I'd never played a MH game before that, and because of all the hype my expectations were pretty high. Anyway, I really didn't like it. Takes far too long to get into, imo.

Nice to see all the added content, but after trying MH3 for Wii, I found out that those are not my kind of game.

So, you're not a hardcore-gamer?

Well, what again was the reason for buying this port again and again on PSP? Ah yes, every of these 'ports' got new content. And everyone agrees this was that saved PSP in Japan.

It's kinda like the Monster Hunter G stuff on PSP if you think about it, you always get a massive content update with each release. 3DS and Wii U are crossplay BTW, and you can actually play on Wii U and 3DS locally together as well, it's kind neat actually. Tri was a seperate Wii game altogether, that one is quiet a few years old by now.
