Kingdom Hearts is still the baby of Nomura and he loves Sony

Its probably another fight between Nomura aka the KING and the others at SquareEnix who are completely delusional.
In the worst case we see another Versus13 that had to suffer with delays/no news cause of the fight between Nomura and the money hungry randoms at SquareEnix who don't care for quality.
If we have luck it stays Playstation Exclusive - This is where the fanbase is.

the originals(1 and 2) were exclusive to the ps2 though right?  i'm not sure if there is anything legal in the way or not but i would take this a proof that KH3 is coming and almost assuredly on ps4.  i'm not sure this confirms exclusivity though.

This is Squeenix, they will probably AT LEAST also release on PS3. Because money.

Yeah not sure if theres legal reasons or not but I doubt it.  The Devil May Cry, Zone of the Enders, and other PS2 only games HD collections came over to the 360

Nope. All the third party HD remakes are on both.



I must be confusing some other titles then....but still, I doubt any 3rd parties will release any exclusives next gen, unless Sony offers an incentive of course.

The Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell collections were PS3 exclusive, but I think that was it.

We have no way of knowing if future releases, or even 2.5 HD REmix will be PS3 or PS4 exclusive.  They could very well end up on Wii U too, as Kingdom Hearts has found a lot of popularity on Nintendo handhelds in recent years.  If Square Enix is able to find a way to make Kingdom Hearts 2 or Birth by Sleep available on non-Sony platforms in addition to PS3/ Vita to add to sales, they'll do it.

There's really no telling what they will do with it. They could release it on the Wii U, and has about an equal chance of that considering their latest KH game (no remakes) was on a Nintendo system.

Why are KH 1.5 and 2.5 Remix on PS3? A lot of things point to that, and it shouldn't be immediately assumed it's because of "Sony loyalism" or whatever. Nomura doesn't like the XBox, and wouldn't make much sense at all to release it on the 360 (look at those Japanese sales). The Wii U has a small install base, and the Wii can't do HD. HD remix can ONLY be done on the PS3 if they want respectable sales.
