I know CD was bullshitting. No way TR will get anywhere close to 1 mil this week, let alone in 48hrs...

It's already at 629k with just the US and UK.  Add in the rest of Europe, Canada and digital PC sales and it is probably around a million.  Also I believe the quote was a million players which would theoretically include rentals or people borrowing the game.

Huh, I thought the 3DS was finally above the DS software-wise.

When was the last big release for DS? Pokemon BW2?

Well in January in the UK it was

DS: 139k
3DS: 112k

Both of those figures were down YoY. (DS down 170k; 3DS down 44k)

I need the global hardware to start to work.

The GT5 is out from the TOP20 UK when it is in the GFK TOP30 BTW.

Tomb Raider is on Steam, isnt it?

I think its sold really well. Nice platform to build on and it should have nice legs.

Yep, I (and a bunch of others) bought it there.

surely steam has 200,000 buyers of main games these days, what do you think more or less,i'd pay full price on psn for tomb raider and i'd easilydo the same with steam

huh that doesnt even make sense...?  But, why do you keep making things up?  Thats twice today I have corrected you for being way off.

its number 37 on the GFK chart for this week. (ending 9th)

36 35     MARIO & SONIC LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES WII SEGA SEGA
27 36     HITMAN ABSOLUTION PS3 SQUARE ENIX SQUARE ENIX EUROPE
35 37     GRAN TURISMO 5 ACADEMY EDITION PS3 SONY COMPUTER ENT. SONY COMPUTER ENT.
- 38     ABBA: YOU CAN DANCE WII UBISOFT UBISOFT

and its number 38 on the VGC chart. (ending 9th).  Whats the problem?

You didnt respond or acknowledge to the correction in the NPD thread so I doubt you will here.  You really need to stop overlaying Ethomaz world on the real world.

lol I mixed the TOP30 here and TOP40 there... makes sense now.

The NPD I'm wrong just with December... November and Januray showed PS3 undertracked.

How much undertracked in November and January and how much overtracked in December.  Also you said its always this way... how about October, September and August?   Weak and cheap (and incorrect) dig, thats what it is.

I don't know... I said November, December and January it were under... I was wrong with December only... and if I remember September and August was under too.

Odd that hardware isn't up yet. That's normally the first thing to go up. It doesn't even look like it's NPD either, because they've given no UK hardware chart.

Oh well. Great start for Tomb Raider, pleased to see that. SimCity pretty strong too, considering the amount of digital sales there will be.

27k for MLB 2K13 on PS3 is just a shambles, but oh well. MLB '13 on Vita opening basically the same as the last version; expecting similar LTD from it too. The PS3 version opening a little lower, but it'll all be legs like always with that series.

Really poor opening for Castlevania.

Isn't Digital not included in our Vita sales? Wouldn't that be substantial?
