3ds in australia (same for wii u) hasnt got a new game release in at least 4 months lol.

Never heard of this game. Also still waiting for Ninja Gaiden on Wii U lol.

Lately just about every  third day I get an email update because I'm a member of Atlus faithful, so if you like certain devs - publishers like Atlus  or others and want to keep informed of  new releases go to the websites  most have some kind of notification system for fans .

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

I've never liked those dungeon crawler rpgs. I like games like Shiren the Wanderer but this just doesn't do it for me. I thought it might have been because of the first person battle system but then I love the entire Dragon quest series. Doesn't seem like it'd be any fun.

ive never even heard of it, and to be frank it doesnt look good to me

Why n give he demo a few hours and tell us what you think?

truth be told i cant stand dungeon crawling games, but i will try the demo, hell i still need to play the fire emblem demo i never did, i actually need to turn on my damn 3ds

The demo and wishing for something to use to help break/dilute my Fire Emblem Awakening obsession (I have gone over 150 game logged hours in two save files) convinced me to get Etrian Odyssey IV this weekend after tracking down a copy to a local Gamestop.

It has proved effective, although I am still level grinding in EO4, it isn't as consuming of my time and addicting as Fire Emblem Awakening was those first few weeks.

This does place a hold on me getting Soul Hackers for a few weeks... I hope that isn't a limited release.

Two things...

A) It is an extremely niche game, especially in the west
B) It's not possible to say whether sales were good or bad, as being such a niche game, it's likely most retailers wouldn't carry the game, and so if the initial shipment was only 40-50k, 20k isn't too bad of a number. It could have legs.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

There's this little game called Fire Emblem that I got that refuses to have an ending.

Well, because we europeans DON'T HAVE THE GAME YET. But I'm happy we get the game at least, unlike EO2 and EO3 which skipped europe completely. The first EO is one of my most beloved games, I like these classical RPGs, not so much the stuff that counts today as RPG (with the exception of Xenoblade, that was awesome). I want EO4 now. But I have to wait. It has not even a clear release-date, all we got was 'Spring'.

my greatest games: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [peak year] [+], [1], [2], [3], [4]

Because is nowhere to be seen here, Atlus never ship their handheld games

Owning a 3DS in a PAL region is depressing. Still, saved up for Fire Emblem so now I just have to wait.

I'll get it eventually, no doubt about it. Thing about these games, though, is that they are extremely hardcore. They take will and dedication to complete, and you will get ruthlessly punished again and again. If you are not a serious gamer, you will not like this franchise, as it will frustarte you to death.
