Good to know. I´ll try the demo then

I agree, the series just gets more and more accessible and refined. I never got around to finishing Etrian I and II but played all the way through III. Enjoyed the demo and hope to pick up the full game when I have more time.
This game is consuming all of my free time as of late. It's a perfect combination of being difficult while still being accessible. And for anyone who thinks they need to play the first 3 before this one, you're wrong. This is my first Etrian Odyssey game, and I am loving it.

The ironiy of it all being that last gen we got some big games even before Europe.
Now it is back to Nintendo of old.
I played the first 2 and couldnt really get into the hard dungeon crawlers so i skipped the 3rd so what in the 4th would convince me otherwise?

It has an easy mode, if difficulty was the main concern. The skills are all also useful this time for each class, so it's much tougher to screw yourself into having a bad party. Material gathering is also generally easier as well.
we got NSMBWii before everyone, sure it was becuase of the Aussie who leaked the game early but still, Walking Dead WiiU version isnt even coming to Aus but the ps360 vers is
I dont like this type of JRPG. (first person, only 4 directions to go to) I actually dont like turn based RPGs at all but there is some few games I still buy (all Dragon Quest games)
My ideal JRPG would be Secret of Mana/Terranigma/Illusion of Gaia(Time) /Xenoblade.
2nd place would be stuff like Tales of blahblah (I dont like the fact that the game goes into a "battle stage" why not battle where your characters actually are? But other than that the games are cool)
3. comes turn based (which is a relic from back in the day when CPUs couldnt handle so much "AI")
4. First person turn based dungeon crawlers. I like to see my characters and want to have actual models with battle animations etc.
I wil buy Etrian Odyssey IV when it falls below 20€.
P.S. I do like turn based strategy games like Advance Wars/Fire Emblem/Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow wars etc... because there it feels like one has to use some brain.

Gonna get it later.
I play every demo at is 3D ready.
I check the eShop every Thursday and they always have that least 1 New Demo.
I have played this Demo for over 4 hours just to realize that when I saved game in the demo that it would be used for the full game and hated that I spent so much time in the Demo, but love the game.
