Japan Facts:
This is the third best week ever for the PS Vita;
Senran Kagura is the 5th best selling PS Vita game;

Ninja Gaiden is proof that third party games don't sell on the Vita.

60k is much more than I expected.



I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

I think the reason for low sales numbers for ninja gaiden is because its a port of a old game. Most likely the people who have a vita may have owned it on a console. Plus would you buy ninja gaiden port or a new ip game for the vita?

I thought Ninja Gaiden was doing better in Japan since itagaki-san left?

I know he focused on maxiumizing Western apile with the seires but ccurent Team Ninja is very diferent. 

didn't NGS2 sell well on PS3 in Japan?

Vita hardware still below 3DS hardware, on a price cut week?
Ninja Gaiden 4k?
Disappointing.
Then again, I always did get the impression that the Japanese responded less to price cuts than the West. If this price cut is followed by a similar on in PAL/NA, we'll see a much more impressive effect, I'm sure.

WW Vita hardware for the week should be 80k, which is nice change from its usual dismal numbers, I just hope the boost will last instead of being a short-lived spurt.
