Now that I'm at HR8 (actually HR40) I am working through the rare subspecies. Gold and Silver were demanding but not hard, but Lucent was really dicey: 3 minutes to go and he still wasn't showing signs of weakness, so I had to get more aggressive despite already fainting twice. A poison swipe took me down to almost nothing and eviscerated my minions, forcing me to drink a potion prematurely instead of waiting for an opening. Miraculously he didn't attack during this time. With just 32 seconds left on the clock, I suddenly see Objective completed.

Ahhhhhhhhh.

I can't believe that this thread is so dead. This game was a smash hit for Capcom.

Turned out Capcom switched the good Agnaktor armor to *glacial* agnaktor

And suddenly about 5 hours of grinding was invalidated...

If it weren't for the fact that the armor would become instantly worthless upon reaching G-rank, i would still forge Agnaktor S, as it looks like a good longsword set.

@amp316, i know what u mean. i think we need to have parties from here more often , might bring it back to a more posting thread.

Yeah, I really don't get it. I thought everyone would be all over this game, creating communites etc., but no. People just don't seem to care.

I'm likely available tomorrow night, Robottech, and i need some help grinding Glacial Agnaktor (i think i had a breakthrough about why his beam keeps killing me), and i need his parts to make the perfect pre-G-rank lance armor.

this has been a great week in this game :
i went from hr7 to now hr41
completed a : gold rathian and silver rathalos armor set.
upgraded my wyvern strife to wyvern conciliaton ( dual blades )

horrible night. 2.5 hours of play, zero glacial agnaktor fin+

Edit: 1 fin, guess i just needed to up to 3.15 hours of play

Guess capturing is key, since breaking the dorsal fin on that guy is tough.
