Nice, will be getting this on Steam when it launches on Friday!

It's not available on Steam sadly. Just Origin.

So this means I have to download Origin and create an account for that now??

Still only 8 reviews? Inb4 the others slam the game

Agreed, I can see this really tumbling to maybe even below 80.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I noticed this morning that Polygon actually changed their review from a 9.5 to an 8.0

Still too high. I *still* cannot play the game I paid for. Preordered even.

I do want this game, but I'm not sure if I like the sizes of the cities in this game, they are way to small IMO (from what I have seen)

This is another sad day in gaming to me. I love the SimCity series and have logged countless hours in SimCity 4. To see always online (an instant death knell for any game and me) and then many of the design decisions? Ugh.

You have to wait like 30 mins in queue in order to log into the server?

I don't even ever actually get the option to wait in a queue, which is odd...

I first selected a full server and it put me right into the menu screen where I could see my city I started yesterday.  When I tries to resume it, it said there was an error and I couldn't resume the city at that time.  When I tried to create a new city in a new region or join another region and claim a new city, I got the same error.

I restarted the game, picked a server that said it was available, and tried the same thing (minus the resume part because EA logic) and got the same errors.

That's the part that bugs me the most. I want to build huge cities, I think I'll get SimCity 4 instead.

The best SimCity out there is SimCity Creator for DS. Get that!

Most probably. Although I can't tell much about your PCs power from the info you gave

OT: Sounds like I should buy SimCity 4 instead

I've wanted to buy SimCity 4 for awhile now... but it turns out that the Mac Version is over 9'000$. Ain't nobody got time fo dat.

(It's actually not over 9'000$, but it sure is more expensive than the Windows Version!)
