If you look at the makeup of the universe, it's pretty much mathematically inevitable that there are millions, billions, maybe trillions of other planets that support life. All you need is a few simple conditions and materials.

Absolutely, there are so many planets (billions, just in the Milky Way, and there are so many other galaxies..), I´d say it´s almost impossible Earth is the only planet that has life.

Now, we can argue whether or not we´ve been visited, and I don´t have a formed opinion on that.I´ve heard a lot of theories, including the one that says we were created by a race called the Anuunaki, which came to Earth some 400.000 years ago to mine gold.

Some also say the Bible makes references to aliens and spaceships...drawings that resembled aliens were found in caves in different parts of the world...anyway, there are so many unexplained things, so many missing pieces of the puzzle..I wonder if one day we´ll find out.

I think Humanity will eventually leave the solar system it's just a question of when/if we make it that far in Humanities existence. We could be wiped off the face of the earth in a few years or survive thousands of years. Honestly I think we will go extinct before we have a chance of being on the level of technology that we see in games like Halo or Mass Effect.
