They didn't cover other IP's because they didn't dig deep enough. Redmond is working on something and Rare has 2 Core IP's in the works. One is a shooter and one is an action/adventure games.
Rare - 2 Core IP's
Black Tusk - 1 Core IP
Lionhead - 2 Core IP's
Then you have Ryse and Alan Wake 2
That is 6 (one of Lionheads game is a Fable game) games we know about that is different than their typical games.

Yeah im interested in what black tusk is doing but as far as Conker just release it on XBLA like they did Banjo. That will be plenty for me XD
It is sad to say but id probably buy the NeXbox for a rerelease of a game that was rereleased once already XP I love that f*ckin squirell haha

The Microsoft Studios staple on a whole is working on at least few new IP's yes (I say at least, because those 4 were listed under one producer, don't know if there are more producers overseeing other projects).

Isnt this a retread of another recent thread? I seem to remember previous recent threads about MS's dev teams and IPs?
It certainly seems that MS have prepared a whole number of dev teams for making new IPs and/or new sequels to existing IPs. Very interested in seeing what they come up with though sadly I suspect some of them are working on kinect and/or casual titles. One question I have is whether all these developers will continue working on games throughout the lifetime of the xbox720 or whether after the initial launch period they will slowly remove the lesser performing developers and focus on their main IPs. Guess we will see.

I'm hoping MSFT will have a proper hack and slash game next gen. I have my doubts since that genre is on the wane, and Too Human didn't exactly light the charts on fire. With all this secrecy I am interested in what they have in store for us.

Besides God of War pretty much all other good hack and slash games are made by third party studios. I'm hoping the Onimusha series gets revived next generation.
