Well if this date is true for next gen systems then it only means they are released by Oct. 29. Heck we could see PS4 and 720 in July and this image would be true. I highly doubt Ubisoft has it planned as a day one launch title like Twilight Princess was.

Let's hope so it needs breathing time before BF to get those initial pre-order guys out of the way. Then right when the near launch sales high is falling off...BAM BF and the holidays keep it high for another month and a half.

Didn't the same things happen for the Wii U with regards to ACIII and other games? It was either out before the system (COD) or it came out the same day as the console (ACIII). The launch of this game does not mean the system will launch that day.

I expect late November in America, maybe a week earlier in Japan. Early 2014 in EU, though.

There is a real possibility that the next Xbox is released in the same week.

I think Sony is planning an october release;.

Certainly possible, but you'll still be coming off the release of GTA V when all the hype should be generated. So why not make it a month earlier and get that game on the system?

This is a much more strategical launch window than the last couple of consoles saw. Launching late October gives them, and stores, time and space to get the buzz around the product. When they launch on BF week, they loose the massive front page ads, and the store is packed with tons of other crap with no room for promotional displays.

Hope this turns out to be true, Sony needs the best start they possibly can.

this.  it would be awesome for ps4 if it could be out in time for AC4 but ubisoft isn't going to delay their launch for a system that will have a max of a 2-3 million users in 2013 with a max of 20% attach rate.  the ps360 versions are just to finacially important to ubi.
