I agree that cross buy is a nice feature, but when the PS4 arrives it wont be necessary because you will be able to play PS4 games on your VITA ANYWHERE! As long as you have an internet connection 3G/wi-fi.

I think that when the PS4 arrives, the 3g VITA will begin to sell like crazy, because all your PS4 games would be available for the VITA, even if you dont have a wi-fi connection around. HELL YEAH!

I'm not too sold on that feature. The games would probably look terrible on vita and be cumbersome to play too. Also, if you're already at home, why not play on your ps4 instead of streaming? The whole thing  seems like a gimmick to me honestly...kinda like the wii U's gamepad

I bought a Vita because of all the free games that they are offering currently for it.

You can remote play ANYWHERE as long as you have an internet connection, remote does not only work on your home lol :).    For example right now  if my PS3 is at home, but I am at work with a wi-fi connection; I can turn on my PS3 remotely with my PSVITA, and if I have a remote play enabled game on the PS3, then I will be able to play it being miles of distance away, is not that cool?   The problem right now is that there are a small quantity of games that support remote play, and that the compression tech is a bit messy if you dont have a good internet connection, but according to what we saw at the conference, every PS4 game will allow remote play, and thanks to gaikai tech, the streaming will look great.

why not? 3g has limited data plan, *horrible* latency, bad bandwidth which can change within meters... crap.

Oh, I see, so how about 4G then? :D    I dont live in the US so I dont know about how the contracts and other stuff are handled there.   But at least remote will be available as long as you have a wi-fi connection near you XD.

It's hard to believe that high end ps4 games will have this right off the bad. I can see ps2/ps1 streaming but ps4? I'd have to see it to believe it.

why? the PS4 has dedicated encode/decode hardware - that will just make a video stream in vitas native resolution 960x544 maybe 30fps, hopefully 60fps (that's not dependend on the game's fps) and stream it to the vita (the vita ofcourse sends your control input back)

actually that way there is no difference between playing a PS mini that's stored on the PS4 or a full blown PS4 game
