I'm with the OP on this.  It's not a bad game, just not my cup of tea.

Theathrythm is the only must have that I've played on 3DS. I've enjoyed some other titles, but that's the only one that fits the category. Will be getting Fire Emblem eventually.

Move Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey into "Must Have" (because they are) and boom. Set.

Then remove Paper Mario and Yoshi's Island, because they're not. Boom. Unset.

The 3DS XL feels more comfortable and better overall i'd get it if i were u. for the 10 must get games :

5.Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask ( If u like puzzles)

9.Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate ( not out yet March 19th)
10.Animal Crossing New Leaf ( out June 9th)

oh wow lol, it looks like a mainstream game then! it should sell well, its in the top 5 on japan amazon (currently #3!)

Fire Emblem Awakening is the game that you will enjoy most. I'm 30 hours in, and not even close to finished. It's jam packed with content. I know that it is a Japanese niche game, so you might be wary, I was too, but if you're getting a 3DS, you need this game.

Also, the XL is a lot better IMO. The small one is just minuscule, I don't enjoy using it.

you never kno, it might blow up. Fire Emblem can help the franchise!
