That Dragon Quest X bundle should boost Wii U sales in Japan substantially.

That said, anybody else hyped for Pandora's Tower? I am. I loved how simple and accessable XenoBlade/The Last Story were. I could pick it up whenever, play however long I wanted, and put it down.....sometimes. I wish we had more games like that, with Achievements/Trophy's I always check what they are before I play a PS3/360 JRPG, and I'm always anal about getting what is reasonable.

As for 3DS XL Colours ;-(. Bad colour options are the main hold back for me not getting a 3DS XL.

P.S. I vote Pikmin. Starfox made exactly 2 good games (Starfox/Starfox 64 and SF Adventures, and ever since then they have been trying to re-ignite the original games glory). F-Zero is pretty damn cool though. Kirby is meh, he had a prime on the SNES, but since then is struggling to evolve.

Now I realize why the 3DS is doing better in Europe then North America. From Wikipeida

  • Red + Black (Europe, Australia, North America, Japan South Korea and Southeast Asia)
  • Blue + Black (Europe, Australia, North America, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Southeast Asia)
  • Silver + Black (Europe, Australia, Japan and South Korea)
  • White (Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe and Australia)
  • Pink + White (Japan and North America)
  • Black (Japan, Europe and Australia)
  • Mario White (China)
  • Mario Silver + Black (China)
  • Mario Red + Black (China)

    Europe has a solid white 3DS XL, solid black, and silver/black. We only have Blue or Red and Black.

    Lame, I want solid white.

I'm glad they are actually attempting to advertise this game...

I hope we see ads for Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate as well (not that I expect to)...

hopefully those games will push hardware! There is like 5 games coming out within that week

I don't know if this counts as news:


Nintendo has given Dreamworks the green light to film "Super Mario Bros 2".  Oddly enough, Bob Hoskins (who just turned 70 years old) and John Leguizamo (age 48) have been confirmed to return to their roles as Mario and Luigi in the sequel to ‘Super Mario Bros’. 

The fans of this movie have been blogging about a sequel for years, to pick up where the last one left off.  And now after all these years, those fans are getting exactly what they've been asking for.

Italian Director Lonnie Carlito has revealed little about the plot of the movie. We do know that the role of the villain in the movie, King Wart, will be played by John Lithgow (3rd Rock from the Sun) , and the Shyguys will be played by popular 90’s actors Matthew Lillard, and French Stewart.


Regardless of whether or not Legiuzamo or Hoskins wanted to do the movie, it turns out that they both signed a contract back in 93’ that promised at least 7 more ‘Mario’ movies.  That may have been a bad idea, because Dreamworks is already working on plans for Super Mario Bros 3, 4, and 5.

So if you haven't seen the first one, then make sure to go see it. Mario & Luigi & King Koopa shoot fire, there's a Big Cheep Cheep who's after Mario, there's also Spike & Princess Daisy & Yoshi & Bullet Bills & Bomb-Ops & many others in the First Movie, with such things as a mushroom turning giant and a final boss battle like in Super Mario World SNES, well what's not to like about the first movie from the 1990's.
